Victoria Falls offers more than the Falls themselves — Zambezi game drives, a sunset river cruise, a scenic helicopter flight, guided walking trails and cross-border day trips are all within reach of one lodge base. This guide explains what each activity actually feels like, what's included in your stay at Mutsviri Game Lodge, and what's worth booking as an extra.

The short answer

The core things to do in Victoria Falls are: walking the Zimbabwe-side Falls trail, a sunrise or sunset game drive in Zambezi National Park, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, a scenic helicopter flight over the Falls and Batoka Gorge, the Chobe / Botswana day trip, and — seasonally — Devil's Pool or Angel's Pool on the Zambia side. Two of these activities are already included in every confirmed stay at Mutsviri Game Lodge; others are arranged as optional extras.

Two activities per day are included in every confirmed stay at Mutsviri Game Lodge, selected from the lodge activity list depending on your itinerary, timing, conditions and availability. Premium extras such as the helicopter flight, and seasonal experiences such as Devil's Pool or Angel's Pool, are arranged on request and quoted separately.
Devil's Pool and Angel's Pool are only possible when official water-level decisions allow it — this is not something any lodge or operator can guarantee, and we would rather say so clearly than overpromise.
The Chobe / Botswana day trip is included in every 3-Night Signature Stay, in every season, and combines naturally with Falls-side activities earlier in your stay.
